La Grande Fête, 50 years of Restaurant De Ceder

In May 2025 it was a party!

Restaurant De Ceder turned 50!

They celebrated this with a pop-up restaurant 'La Grand Fête'

Studiomie came up with a food concept for them that was literally out of the box for Restaurant De Ceder.

For 1 month they left their familiar setting in Molenstraat in Kruibeke

and they brought their refined cuisine and warm atmosphere to Rupelmonde.

For 21 evenings, Katrijn and Frederick welcomed their guests at one long table

in an exceptional setting on the banks of the Scheldt.

Studiomie was responsible for developing the complete food concept

and converted a co-working space into an atmospheric fine dining restaurant.

We developed: the name 'La Grande Fête', the food concept, the visual identity and the interior design.

With this integrated approach we ensured a consistent and festive total experience,

fitting the character of De Ceder and their culinary tradition.

It became a festive, total experience where taste, atmosphere and experience merged.

Where tradition and future meet. We are proud to have contributed to this.

to this special chapter in the story of The Cedar.

In the meantime, they receive their guests again in their familiar restaurant in Kruibeke.

In addition to the restaurant, they run B&B Ceder 10 out.

The ideal place for a weekend full of culinary experiences, city trips in Antwerp (the water bus takes you across the Scheldt in no time) and walks in the Kruibeekse polders.
